The special Gold Rush: The Jungle at 9PM was Friday's highest rated cable program with a 1.1 adults 18-49 rating. Gold Rush: The Jungle After Show was the second highest rated cable original with a 0.8 adults 18-49 rating.
Update: Not in the post below, but the second season premiere of Boss on Starz drew just 317,000 average viewers at 9pm, less than half the 659,000 that watched the first season premiere in October, 2011. The weekend total viewership for Boss was 950,000 down from 1.1 million for the first season premiere.
We only receive the top 100 cable shows for adults 25-54 for the whole day from our primary source. If you don't see your show it wasn't in that top 100 list.

Shake It Up was a BEAST on Friday!!!!
Shake it up only got 4.5 million. I believe high school musical 2 premiered that night and got 17 million, and a few years later phineas and ferb Aired something which got 10 million… Shake it up wasn’t so lucky! ????

Ouch for Shake It Up, season finale AND it’s first 1 hour special and it couldn’t pull in 5 million viewers, seriously.
Shake it Up didn’t do nearly as good as I would have thought..especially considering the amount of promotion it had months in advance.
@Nathan, did you hear about Nickelodeon’s new programming block You Gotta See Saturdays coming this fall.
I expected higher for Shake it Up.

@Twist Yes. I actually saw the promo during the 1 hour special “How to Rock: Cee lo”. I’m glad nickelodeon is deciding to step up with their programming, and promotion this fall.
Honestly, Shake It Up disappointed me. The writing for the “movie” felt choppy, and amateurish. I hope Disney isn’t banking on it to be the flagship.
On another note, Gravity Falls looks promising. It has such wide appeal.
Oh, and good for Charmed. I loved that show.
Boss: 317,000 viewers. Well, that’s that. Terribly sad to see another great ahow crash.
Plus encores, it reached 509,000 on Friday, over the course of the weekend it went up to 915,000. But we’re looking at the initial ratings, I guess, and those are horrible. I can already hear Chris Albrecht load his cancelation gun.
Man…..this sucks so hard. Awesome show.

I knew shake it up wasn’t gonna get more than 5 million.! It still did good though, but it was the season finale and it was an hour and 30 minutes I think. O well. Good for gravity falls.!(:
I hope How to Rock Cee Lo did as good as shake it up cuz it was a really good ep.! The best so far. I love all the songs even though 2 of them were covers.! How to Rock always pulls off good and catchy music on the show. I think the show has what it takes to be a big hit like victorious and icarly. I just wish nickelodeon would promote the show a lot better and air it more often.! Anyways go Nick and Disney.!

@Nathan Well, the final episodes of Victorious have been confirmed by Ariana Granade’s mother to start next month. And they have confirmed to be alongside the Gotta See Saturdays block. Which confirms Gotta See Saturdays will start next month.
I thought Shake It Up would get over 5 million, but it still did well anyways, hope HTR did well considering Nickelodeon actually promoted it. Great numbers for Gravity Falls, love that show

That was because High School Musical 2 was highy anticipated after a very good first movie. Phineas & Ferb aired right after it. Shake It Up isn’t anticipated as much High School Musical 2.
