WWE Smackdown was Friday's top original cable program with a 0.8 adults 18-49 rating, matching last week's performance. College Football came in second on ESPN, also scoring a 0.8 adults 18-49 rating.
We only receive the top 100 cable shows for adults 25-54 for the whole day from our primary source. If you don't see your show it wasn't in that top 100 list.

Ant farm will be done this season. If disney renews it for a third season then they’re stupid. I hope disney doesn’t bring back MBAV. 7:30 PM on a friday for them is a waste of a time slot. In my opinion, ANT FARM is a Dan Schnieder show “wanna be”. They try too hard to be funny.
But I have to admit..Friday’s episode was actually..pretty funny. I haven’t laughed that hard at a disney show in god knows how long…

Disney has no say over the renewal or cancellation of My Babysitter’s a Vampire, Canada’s Teletoon does. Disney only airs the episodes like Like With Drek, it’s an adapted series.
Disney does however take a risk of losing an audience (viewed by 2.5-3 million homes) by not keeping the series on their global networks.
MBAV technically is out of prime time anyway. If MBAV aired on Sundays at 8:30PM like it’s been, it wouldn’t be an issue. MBAV does BETTER on Sunday versus the crowded Friday night.
Disney has some work to do with Ant Farm. They’re not producing much ratings. I dont know what theyre gonna do. Disney should switch Shake it Up with Ant Farm. Ant Farm would do better on Sundays.

SmackDown actually did promotion for Haven, since one of their wrestlers was guest starring/recurring on it. I watch for him, but I actually like Haven and will continue to watch.
Well, it goes to show Disney NEEDS Jessie to prop up their lesser shows. On the other hand, i’m impressed with Nickelodeon’s fall season SO far. Wanko’s Warehouse was hilarious. And for once, i’m in to BTR. Bringing Jo back was a good idea. HTR… well I didn’t really enjoy it, it’s trying to hard to be funny. I can’t wait for iShock America.

@CM – Honestly, I think it will be fine. The total viewers number doesn’t tell the whole story. A.N.T. Farm is still doing very well in the kid demos, and that’s what counts the most. Also, year-over-year (on the corresponding Friday night in 2011 – September 23), Disney Channel was actually up in total viewers even though this past week seemed lower.
@Walker – Babysitter is an acquired series, not adapted. Adapted would mean that Disney is recreating it, which they are not. But you are right, Disney has no control over the renewal of it. Teletoon and Freemantle Media do.
As for the 2.5-3 million viewer risk, do remember that those also account for crossover viewers, those who watch other Disney Channel shows, not just ‘Vampire.’

I’m guessing all you folks asking & talking about ratings for Disney are parents? If a show has bad ratings do you tell your kids? If it looks like a show will be cancelled do you tell your kids? Are you planning your family time viewing? I’m just curious.
Martin…the 18-49 demo performance for “Haven” for season two averaged between a 0.4 and a 0.6 rating. Of the 13 episodes in season two (including the Christmas episode), two episodes earned a 0.4 rating (one of them being that Christmas episode), while three episodes earned a 0.6 demo rating. The remaining eight episodes were in the middle with a 0.5 demo rating.

I never watched Haven. My dvr is set to record 15 min after Smackdown just in case. I caught the the first little bit of Haven that it captured. Then went to demand and watched the full episode. Not bad, and well done for Syfy. I would say I’d continue to watch but I like to start things from season 1. So until then it’ll be on my “eventually I’ll get to it” list.

Too bad MBAV hasn’t done as well this summer. Maybe the year break? Maybe spreading the episodes out instead of the weekday-stip it got last year? Who knows. 10pm likely would have been a better time (after Gravity Falls). Plus, since it’s TV-PG, it might have done better with older viewers (teens) too.
Either way, it doesn’t matter now. Only two episodes are left this season.
Interesting that a few slams against ANT FARM were quickly followed by “but this last episode was really funny”. My kids LOVE the show and I think it is clever and weird and funny. It is doing fine in a terrible time slot. You cant compare the Season 2 averages for Shake It Up & Good Luck Charlie – they have much better nights and time slots and more promotion. Also so many kids dont watch the shows when they first air – they DVR it, they watch it on iTunes, Hulu, etc. The whole Friday night was waaay down – ANT FARM< still was the most watched scripted show that night.
@Stephen Judson : Is that really Edge’s hair on Haven ? I happen to see a few minutes of it and saw he had very short hair. It looked like he may have been wearing a wig !
