CBeebies Storytime introduces children to a world of stories through beautiful, interactive story experiences. The app aims to inspire a love of stories in every child in the UK and support early years reading.

The stories in the app promote CBeebies’ core values, with themes of inclusivity, sharing, friendship and more. There are two reading modes to choose from, so children can read independently or with a grown-up. All the stories are free to download and there are no in-app purchases.

CBeebies Storytime features playful interactions, popular CBeebies characters, well-loved authors, and high-quality stories so children can enjoy reading, playing and learning. Our app seeks to support traditional physical books by offering a magical interactive journey that encourages a love of stories and an immersive reading experience for children.

No Wi-Fi? No problem! Downloaded stories can be read offline and on-the-go, so whether you are at home or out and about, there are no limits! You will need an internet connection to access the library to download new stories or return any you have finished.

This is a lovely app for the children,..my 2 year old and 4 year old both love it. They can select stories based on Ceebies programmes to put in their 'storybook'. They can then choose which story from their book to look at and can choose "Read to Me" where the text to the story is read out or "Read it myself" (which my children aren't up to yet!). The stories are interactive and are familiar to the children from programmes they have seen.

My 2yr old granddaughter absolutely loves this app. We go on this most days. A fun way to learn to read. As it is interactive she is part of the story and can join in. She loves Mr Tumble and the other characters and has learnt quite quickly to tap and shake the screen when required, she can also turn the pages when she sees the arrow. Thoroughly enjoyable and educational app. Would recommend to all with young children/grandchildren - lots of fun

I've had this app since it was released and it's great for my younger siblings. They like getting involved with the story and doing tasks and question. The issue I have it has now been removed from the built in amazon app store on my old gen kindle fire hd I can't update the app to get new stories, trying to explain to a 4 year-old you can't download the clanger story isn't gonna be much fun. Shame on you amazon for abandoning your own products.
