As a long life fan of ER since the 1990’s in remember this back when it was 1st on, it was such a fast paced drama, set in Chicago with characters you fall in love with & your hooked, in my opinion the BEST tv show ever made & Groundbreaking for its time in the late 1990’s dealing with AIDS, Domestic Abuse & Religion & Sexual Orientation, it’s still on CBS to this day but they don’t play it from start to finish, so I bought this to watch at my Leisure, I just wishing was on Blu-Ray DVD 📀 but it’s a great Box Set.Quick Delivery in less than 24hrsHighly recommended5***** 5***** 5*****

I originally bought this complete box set a few months ago & discovered that a few disks would not play in my PS3 - Season 2, disk 2, side 2 & Season 6, disk 2, side 2. All of the disks are double sided.

I reported this problem to customer services using the ring back option via the website & the problem was dealt with straight away & to my satifaction. I am very pleased with Amazon customer services. I quickly received a replacement box set & every disk up to Season 11, disk 3, side 1 have worked so far.

The box set itself brings back memories of the original airing on TV all those years ago & how much I enjoyed watching it then. Although there are a lot of disks to get thru, 48 I think, I am enjoying every minute of every disk.

Well written & acted, great character & medical story lines too. Sometimes funny, sometimes sad & also sometimes quite shocking.

I use the English subtitles & they work very well. Other subtitles in different lauguages are also available too.

It is interesting to see certain actors & actresses that have now gone on to star in other dramas who I think had made their debut in ER. One being the actor that now currently plays Taub in House. There are others too including Nurse Carol Hathaway who now stars in The Good Wife.

I am now currently up to nearly watching all of Season 11 & don't want it to end. I am watching 3 episodes a night & since they are each about 43 minutes long, the epidodes seem to fly past quickly.

I highly recommend this great, iconic, American medical drama box set !.

I am really pleased with this item. It arrived on time this morning. I got as it's what my son says he wants for Christmas. Although it is used and not brand new you'd never know. It is plastic wrapped and the box looks new. The only thing that differs from being brand new is the price. This set was less than half the price of buying new. The description from the seller was 'used, like new' but I didn't think it would be this good. It came well packaged in a strong plastic bag and was delivered right on time. I would buy from this seller again for sure.

I missed ER when it was first shown on C4 all them years ago but was finally nagged by the wife into buying it. Quite simply an epic show spanning 15 seasons with breathless stories and awesome characters. ER is based in the Emergency Room of County General, a hospital in Chicargo. Every episode deals with the everyday lives and deaths of the said hospital, the character development is very good and as the viewer you really care about the outcomes. I've found no problems with the DVDs themselves, they play perfectly using my Xbox 360, my issue is with the packaging, its crap. It is simply all of the previously released DVDs in a cardboard box.

Make sure you have some time on your hands before you purchase this box set, because it is compulsive viewing! I am yet to come across a dull episode in this series. Every episode pulls you in with it's original, and often outrageous, plot line. The acting is superb and the characters are totally believable. You will be amazed by how many familiar faces you see throughout the series. It seems like in order to go on and become a successful actor, you'd of had to had a part (however small) in ER at some stage. I love the way the characters are so subtly developed over the episodes, you gradually have more and more of an insight into why the characters are the way they are. Expect to fall in love with a fair few of them!

I love this series! I couldn't recommend it enough. Be warned though, every episode leaves you wanting more. But with 22 episodes in each of the 15 seasons there are enough hours of ER in this box set to satisfy any fanatic.

P.S. On some discs they include a blooper reel which is absolutely hilarious, and definitely worth watching!

I have never saw a single episode of ER while the series was on... Well... never mind - I can now be 'living' in my home cinema system while I'm seeing the all 15 Seasons of it... I guess I'm around the middle and let me tell you, it doesn't disappoint in any way. Actors leave, we are sorrow, but the arrange great storylines and new actors come in, while a core remain, other leave and return, but the writing is very good and like Grey's we really care about the characters and there relationships, not the medical cases from one episode to other... It's a miracle it last 16 season without been cancelled like other great tv shows. This prove, that against all, it is possible to keep a series 15 years on TV, and keep the viewers interested and the rating up, so the networking don't cancel the show. It's a shame other don't have this opportunity - 10 out of 10 points for this one - a must buy!

I have to give er the complete series 5 stars because i love the show and have watched over the whole series on tv ,dr mark green and jeany boulet are my favorite characters.I do think however the set is missing a booklet with behind the scenes pics and info ,all though there is a good amount of extras on the discs.One problem i had on ordering this set[first from HMV then from amazon]the first season box set had a constant appearance of white lines and dots all through all the discs,amazons copy was much better but with a few dots ,rest of seasons so far have a clear playback.Would be interesting to know if any one else had same problem.Having great fun remembering classic storylines and ones forgotten,highly recommended!

Bis heute unerreicht, Emergency Room, basierend auf den eigenen Erfahrunge von Bestseller-Autor Michael Crichton, ist diese US-Serie, beginnend Mitte der Neunziger und bis weit in die 2000er Jahre erfolgreich gewesen.
Beschrieben werden Berufs- und Privatleben von Ärzten, Pflegepersonal und anderen Mitarbeitern der Notaufnahme eines fiktiven Chicagoer Lehrkrankenhauses. Das ist spannend, oftmals im Takt eines rasenden Herzens geschnitten, mit zittriger Kamera gefilmt, anrührend, authentisch und so gut wie nie sentimental.
Bislang habe ich fünf Staffeln verfolgt und hoffe nun, dass die langsam anstehende Teilumwälzung des Casts nichts an der Brillanz der bisherigen Storylines ändert.

Zur Box selbst ist zu sagen, sie ist rationell und daher im Preis-Leistungsverhältnis nicht zu toppen. Die DVDs befinden sich je Staffel in nur einer üblichen DVD-Hülle, sie sind beidseitig bespielt und überlappend verstaut, es ist also etwas Fingerspitzengefühl beim Umgang mit den empfindlichen Speichermedien gefragt. Die Hüllen sind unspektakulär, aber platzsparender geht es nun wirklich nicht, als Umverpackung dient eine hübsche Pappbox. Die glänzende Beschichtung war bereits an den Ecken abgestoßen, was jedoch unvermeidbar ist aufgrund des Materials, auch dies geht aber in Ordnung.
Umfangreicheres Bonusmaterial bieten vor allem die ersten Staffeln, ab Staffel 3 wird es zusehens dünner, allerdings nicht unüblich für Serienveröffentlichungen.

Für deutsche Fans ist an dieser Box besonders die zum größten Teil vorhandene deutsche Tonspur interessant. Staffeln 5-14 liegen in deutscher Fassung vor, was auch deutsche Menüs beinhaltet. Wie schon ein Vorschreiber erwähnte lohnt es sich im Vergleich zum Einzelkauf der deutschen Einzelveröffentlichungen hier gar, sich die übrigen 5 Staffeln zusätzlich auf Deutsch zuzulegen und sie einfach gegen die rein englischen DVDs auszutauschen.

Ich bin begeistert von dieser Box, eine solche günstige Gesamtveröffentlichung empfinde ich als beispielhaft und würde mir auch hierzulande ähnliche Produkte wünschen, für Leute, die ohne viel Schnickschnack eine gute Serie genießen möchten.

Ein Wort noch zum Rücknahmeservice von Amazon: Ich hatte bei der Erstlieferung eine Box mit einer doppelten und dadurch eben auch einer fehlenden DVs erwischt und innerhalt von zwei Tagen hatte ich eine Ersatzbox, die nun vollständig ist. Vorbildlich.

Adoro questa serie tv, la cercavo da tanto tempo e finalmente ho trovato un box con tutte le stagioni, ogni stagione ha 6 dvd e si trovano dentro un box di cartoncino forte ben decorato.
Se vogliamo trovargli una pecca non c'è la lingua italiana almeno non i tutti i dvd, per me non è un problema dato che conosco l'inglese, ma per chi non lo conosce è un limite.

Auch wenn man nur 10 dieser 15 großartigen Staffeln auf Deutsch sehen kann, lohnt sich diese Box auf jedenfall. Wie andere hier schon geschrieben haben, bieten die Staffen 5-14 Deutschen Ton und Untertitel. Die restlichen sind aber mit Untertiteln im Englischen OT gut zu verstehen und man kann der Serie folgen. (Auch mit Schulenglisch.)
Zum Inhalt brauche ich sicherlich nicht mehr viel zu sagen, spätestens nach eine Paar Folgen will man einfach mehr... An das ständige Personalwecheln muss man sich wohl gewöhnen. Verschiedene Personen tauch irgendwann plötzich auf und sind irgendwann meist auch genau so schnell wieder weg.
Die Box ist so aufgemacht, dass sie neben anderen DVDs gut in ein Regal passen sollte. Selbst wenn man die Staffeln 1-4 und 15 in der Box gegen die Deutsche Version austauschen möchte sollte der Platz reichen.
