Pokémon Horizons: The Series - Pokémon Horizons: Everything You Need to Know

You can watch Pokémon Horizons: The Series exclusively on BBC iPlayer and CBBC in the UK. Brand-new episodes are available from 1st December 2023 on BBC iPlayer, so make sure you check them out!

Join Liko and Roy as they journey throughout the Pokémon world, catching Pokémon, taking part in challenging battles, and meeting an interesting cast of characters. There are new lands to explore, new Pokémon to meet, and new discoveries to make.

Brand-new episodes are available from 1st December 2023 on BBC iPlayer and the CBBC channel. 

• 🌳 Liko | An Indigo Academy student from the Paldea region who owns a mysterious pendant passed down to her by her grandmother. She’s a bit shy but always ready for an adventure and making friends. Her partner is Sprigatito, the Grass Cat Pokémon.
• 🔥 Roy | The newest member of the Rising Volt Tacklers and the current holder of an Ancient Poké Ball. He’s optimistic and the first person to help someone in need. His partner is Fuecoco, the Fire Croc Pokémon.

They are joined by the Rising Volt Tacklers, a group of adventurers who include:

• 🥼 Friede | Leader of the Rising Volt Tacklers, and the group’s very own Pokémon Professor. He is very loyal but can be a bit forgetful and absent-minded.
• ⚡️ Captain Pikachu | The captain of the Brave Olivine (the Rising Volt Tackler’s ship) and Friede's partner. Captain Pikachu is brave and ready to fight for what it believes in.
• 🏥 Mollie | The medic of the group. She’s somewhat aloof and distant but is kind, especially to any Pokémon who comes under her care.
• 🛠️ Orla | The engineer of the group who takes her job very seriously. She and Friede have been friends for a long time.
• 🍳 Murdock | The cook of the group. He is extremely caring and likes cooking for everyone on the ship.
• 📸 Dot |She’s Murdock’s niece and a skilled programmer. Dot is the ship's intelligence specialist.
• 🐟 Ludlow | The fisherman of the group. He’s a bit of a loner, preferring to fish instead, but he’s always around to give helpful advice to the rest of the group.

Pokémon Horizons: The Series is set throughout the Pokémon world. It’s got it all - tall snowy mountains, picturesque beaches, endless deserts, and lush grasslands all teeming with exciting new Pokémon to discover. But the best part is the amazing Pokémon and people that our adventurers will meet along the way!

We’re obviously not going to tell you what happens (no spoilers here!), but we can say that it will be an adventure where we follow Liko, Roy and the rest of the Rising Volt Tacklers as they explore the wide world of Pokémon. There will be epic Pokémon battles, make-or-break situations and lots of laughs, so make sure to watch it in December 2023, when the first episode will premiere.

Pokémon Horizons: The Series has two brand-new main characters - Liko, who is thoughtful and adventurous, and Roy, who is optimistic and helpful. Ash has achieved his goal of becoming a World Champion, so in this series, we are following a brand-new adventure.
