Rail passengers are being told to book taxis across the South Western Railway network after flooding and strong winds led to disruption.
The rail operator said there were seven ongoing incidents on Thursday night that were "all weather-related".
A spokesman said there had been flooding on some parts of the network and trees had fallen on to tracks.
Areas affected include Haslemere in Surrey, Salisbury in Wiltshire, Gillingham in Dorset, Feltham in south west London, and Wokingham in Berkshire.
Disruption is expected to continue until the end of service on Thursday night.
"Hopefully it will be back to normal by tomorrow but customers should check before travelling," he said.
The rail operator tweeted: "Due to the level of disruption on our network, our customers are authorised to book their own taxi to travel."
It said passengers would be able to claim a refund for their journey.
SWR has previously turned to taxis during disruption. In January, its customers were told they could take taxis anywhere on the network following disruption caused by Storm Henk.
