Ten people have been arrested in connection with the murder of two men six years ago.

Daniel Shaw, 28, was shot dead in Tile Hill, Coventry, on 25 March 2018.

His death was linked to the murder of Johnny Robbins, 33, who was thought to have been tortured before disappearing days earlier and whose body has never been found.

Six men were arrested for conspiracy to murder while two men and two women were arrested for assisting an offender.

The men and women are in their 20s and 30s and were arrested in areas across Midlands, police said.

Mr Robbins' mother said: “We've been in a very long and black tunnel for six long and painful years.

“There's still a long way to go but we are very confident in the job the homicide team are doing to get justice for our very much loved and dearly missed Johnny.”

Mr Shaw's sister added that it was uplifting as a family to see positive progress in the investigation after six years.
