'No doubt Dad's dementia was caused by rugby'

The son of an amateur rugby player has said there was no doubt that physical contact while playing the game had caused early-onset dementia in his father.

Peter Jones died last year from Covid but a post-mortem examination found repeated physical contact had caused brain damage.

The confirmation proved his family's suspicions and they now want to raise awareness about the dangers of rugby, even when it is played at an amateur level.
