Two 15-year-old boys have appeared in court on charges of murder and possession of a bladed article after a teenager was fatally stabbed.

Darrian Williams died after being attacked in Rawnsley Park in Easton, Bristol.

The two boys, who cannot be identified for legal reasons, appeared at Bristol Crown Court on Tuesday.

The defendants will appear again for a plea and trial preparation hearing on 21 March.

Police said Darrian, 16, ran to Stapleton Road, where he was helped by a motorist, after being stabbed just before 18:00 GMT on 14 February.

He collapsed in West Street, Old Market, and died at the scene, despite the efforts of emergency services.
