Leeds: Katherine Ryan to headline Kirkstall Abbey comedy festival

Two major stars will be headlining a new comedy festival at a "truly unique Yorkshire venue", it has been confirmed.
Katherine Ryan and Ross Noble will be performing at the first Kirkstall Abbey Comedy Festival on 28 July.
The open-air event in the ruins of the 12th Century abbey will have a capacity of 4,500.
The festival is a collaboration between Yorkshire-based promotors Futuresound and the Leeds Comedy Festival.
"The first large-scale, open-air comedy festival to happen in Leeds, The Kirkstall Abbey Comedy Festival is a 4,500-capacity event bringing an array of the county's very best and brightest comics to a truly unique Yorkshire venue," Futuresound said.
Kirkstall Abbey is a ruined Cistercian monastery, which dates back to 1152, and is now open to the public with a visitor centre and cafe.
Other names confirmed for July include Reginald D. Hunter, Ivo Graham and Clinton Baptiste.
Andy Smith, director of Futuresound Group, said they were excited to bring an "amazing bill to the iconic Kirkstall Abbey".
"With some of the biggest names in comedy on-board this is shaping up to be a brilliant day with some household names, exciting new voices and lots more to close out our weekend at the abbey."
Residents with a Leeds postcode will be able to purchase tickets from the 26 February, two days before they go one general sale.
The event is open to all over 14.
