Hawes man, 75, trapped under lawnmower for four hours

The man was taken to hospital by air ambulance
A 75-year-old man spent four hours trapped under a ride-on lawnmower near Hawes, emergency services said.
The man's legs had got lodged in the machine in Simonstone at 14:30 BST on Tuesday, North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service said.
The brigade was alerted just before 19:00 BST, and used a ground anchor and ropes to move the mower off the man.
He was given first aid and taken to hospital by air ambulance. The extent of his injuries was not yet known.
