Chris Read has previously been assistant coach at Hobart Hurricanes in the Women's Big Bash League and Trent Rockets Women
Lancashire Thunder have appointed former England wicketkeeper Chris Read as their head coach on a two-year deal.
The 45-year-old will succeed Paul Shaw in the role from 1 January.
Read, who won 15 Test caps for England, was assistant coach for Trent Rocket Women in The Hundred in 2023.
