South Africa batter Tazmin Brits has re-signed for the South East Stars.

The 33-year-old hit 214 runs in four matches for the team last year and has scored more than 1,500 runs for her country.

Brits will join up with the side before their season opener against Southern Vipers on 20 April.

Her last match is set to be against Sunrisers in the Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy on 14 July.

"I'm buzzing to be back at Stars and pick up from where I left off," Brits said.

"South East Stars have an amazing group of players and coaches, whom I formed a real connection with during my previous stint.

"I'm really looking forward to joining them again in the English summer."
