Zain ul Hassan and Ben Morris have signed contract extensions with Glamorgan.

All-rounder ul Hassan impressed in 2023 having cemented his place at the top of the order in red-ball cricket.

Seamer Ben Morris played against Derbyshire and Worcestershire last season.

"We're looking forward to both Zain and Ben continuing to develop at the club over the coming seasons," said director of cricket Mark Wallace.

"We're delighted that they have both signed new contracts."

The Glamorgan chief added: "Zain is a talented all-round cricketer who settled in magnificently in his first year at the club in 2023.

"He took on the opportunity to open last season and showed his versatility across all formats with the bat and the ball.

"Ben continues to improve and earned a well deserved first team debut last year through good showings in the second team and for Pontarddulais in the South Wales Premier League."

Ul Hassan said: "I am delighted to extend my stay in south Wales, I have loved my first season here, and the coaching staff and players made me feel very welcome and part of a family.

"I can't wait for the coming season where we will push for trophies under the guidance of a new head coach.

"The plan for 2024 is to build on my first season and get better by contributing with more match-winning performances in all formats."

Morris - who made his competitive debut for Glamorgan in the Metro Bank One Day Cup last summer - said it was an "excellent experience" and "I'm eager to knock on the door for selection in all three formats in 2024.

"I've worked hard to get to this point and my full focus remains on pushing my game to new heights, and being ready to impact games next summer."
