Great Britain's Lois Toulson and Andrea Spendolini-Sirieix won diving bronze in the 10m synchronised event on day five of the World Aquatics Championships.

The 2023 silver medallists were fourth with one dive to go but secured the podium place with their final dive - their highest-scoring effort of 74.88.

They finished with a total of 299.34 points and won Great Britain's seventh medal of the championships in Doha.

It comes a day after Spendolini-Sirieix won bronze in the individual event.

Spendolini-Sirieix, 19, was also part of the British quartet that won team gold on Friday.

"We both knew going into the last dive that it needed to be a good one," Toulson said.

"We know we can put all of our dives down. We haven't done our best performance today, but after three long days of competing, we are still really proud of it."

Spendolini-Sirieix added: "We have learned that we are definitely strong enough, it's more than possible. We gave our all - and I really enjoyed this competition."

Gold was won by Quan Hongchan and Chen Yuxi of China, who also took gold and silver respectively ahead of Spendolini-Sirieix in the individual event.

They finished with 362.22 points while North Korea's Mi Rae Kim and Jin Mi Jo claimed silver with 320.70.
