Cardiff Devils won a tense penalty shootout to complete their comeback against Guildford Flames.

Ryan Tait and Peter Crinella had given Flames a 2-0 lead going into the final period.

Joey Martin then struck twice for Devils before Flames pulled one back to take the match into overtime.

Steven McParland and Cole Ully scored their sides only penalties to take it to sudden death, before Ully got the all-important winner.

The result rounds off a successful weekend for Devils after they beat top of the table Sheffield Steelers 4-1 to keep their slim title hopes alive.
