Hannah Snellgrove has been named as the 11th sailor for Team GB at the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris.

The 33-year-old, who has three national titles to her name, will compete in the women's dinghy class.

Snellgrove becomes the seventh debutant to join Team GB's sailing team before the Games, which take place from 26 July to 11 August.

"It's the biggest honour to be selected and I would love to stand on the podium at the Games," said Snellgrove.

Team GB are the most successful nation in Olympic sailing history, having won 64 medals in total, including 31 golds.

"It's been quite the 26-year project since first setting foot in a boat, and I think it would be fair to say I've taken the scenic route," Snellgrove added.

"The Olympics is the pinnacle of our sport and it's an opportunity to share the experience and thrills of racing at the highest level with friends and family and all those who have supported me along the way."

Selection for men's kite and mixed dinghy classes are still ongoing.
