Britain's Aaliyah Powell beat two-time Olympic champion Jade Jones on her way to women's -57kg bronze at the World Taekwondo Grand Prix Final.

The 21-year-old from Huddersfield defeated Jones 2-1 in the quarter-final in Manchester - her first win over the Welshwoman.

But she lost to American Faith Dillon in the semi-finals.

Powell secured her medal after Chinese Taipei's Lo Chia-ling withdrew from their bout.

Fellow Briton Bradly Sinden, the reigning world champion and Olympic silver medallist in the men's -68kg category, lost out in the quarter-finals to Jordan's Zaid Alhalawani.
