Alex Yee and Beth Potter won the individual races at the Olympic test event in August
Beth Potter and Alex Yee have been confirmed as the first two Great Britain triathletes to be selected for the Paris 2024 Olympics.
Potter and Yee won the individual races at the Olympic Games test event in August, and helped GB claim the mixed team silver medal.
Potter, 31, became world champion in September and competed in the 10,000m at the Rio 2016 Games.
Yee, 25, won silver at Tokyo 2020 and gold in the mixed relay.
GB can select up to six triathletes for Paris, with the rest of the team to be named next year, based mainly on their performances in the World Triathlon Championship Series (WTCS).
Potter finished this year's WTCS top of the women's rankings, with Yee the highest British male in fifth.
Britain's Sophie Coldwell and Kate Waugh were also in the women's top 10, with Waugh coming second to Potter in the championship finals and Coldwell in seventh.
GB have won more triathlon medals than any other nation since the sport was introduced to the Olympics at Sydney 2000.
