Jamaican poet Jason Allen-Paisant reads from winning collection
Jamaican poet and academic Jason Allen-Paisant has won the UK's most prestigious poetry prize with his second collection Self-Portrait as Othello.
Allen-Paisant told the BBC that he wanted to delve into Shakespeare's text and understand Othello from a different perspective.
"How did he come to Venice? What's really driving this thing that people characterise as madness?"
