Portsmouth stadium visit stirs memories for fan with dementia

In 1949, Portsmouth FC fan Colin Snook was among the club's biggest-ever home crowd for an FA Cup victory over Derby County.

Seventy-five years later, Mr Snook, 87, has fond memories of the game, despite his growing struggle with dementia.

His sons Stewart and Martin have arranged a return to Fratton Park for their father and uncle Alan.

They had a private tour of the stadium and will be watching Pompey's top-of-the-table match against Derby on Tuesday.
