Special Olympics: County Armagh skier preparing for home games

Around 300 athletes are expected to descend on County Armagh this weekend for the Special Olympics Ireland Winter Games.

It is the first time the event has been held in Northern Ireland with Alpine Skiing taking place at the Golf and Ski Centre in Lurgan and Floorball taking over the South Lakes Centre in Craigavon.

For 20-year-old skier Caolan McConville the opportunity to compete in the championships on his doorstep are a dream come true.
