How a major US bridge collapsed after being struck by a ship

A bridge in Baltimore, Maryland, has collapsed into the Patapsco River after being struck by a container ship.

Six people remain missing as officials carry out a search and rescue operation by land, air and sea. US President Joe Biden has committed to rebuild the bridge with federal funds.
