Uncovering the lost 'Stonehenge' of Spain

The Dolmen of Guadalperal, also known as the treasure of Guadalperal by locals, has often been referred to as the 'Spanish Stonehenge' - a megalithic monument dating back to 2000 BC. Located in the town of Peraleda de la Mata in the region of Extremadura in central Spain, its residents and cultural preservationists are fighting to preserve its eroding structure and past.
