Trampoline & Tumbling World Championships: GB win four medals on day three in Birmingham

Great Britain win silver & two bronze in Tumbling World Championships
Great Britain won three individual tumbling medals and one team bronze on day three of the Trampoline, Tumbling and DMT World Championships.
Megan Kealy claimed silver and Saskia Severni won bronze in the women's tumbling in Birmingham, while Jaydon Paddock took the men's bronze.
Zak Perzamanos, Andrew Stamp, Corey Walkes and Peter Buravitskiy won bronze in the men's trampoline team final.
Perzamanos and Izzy Songhurst also qualified for the Paris Olympic Games.
Both British athletes secured their place in Sunday's men's and women's individual trampoline finals.
Kealy, whose final pass demonstrated her expertise and style, said: "I've had a difficult year with my training, I've been really struggling to believe in myself.
"So to come here to a home World Champs and achieve this has been a massive boost for me. I competed my upgraded passes and I knew whatever happened I had to leave everything out there. It was all worth it and it's paid off for a world silver medal."
Severni, who claimed gold alongside Kealy in the women's tumbling final on Saturday, said her individual bronze behind her "idol" on her senior World Championships debut was "really special".
"I remember Megan being my idol when I was so young. I've just really looked up to her so to be able to be alongside her in today's final was really special," she said.
"I'm so proud of my performances today. It's my first senior Worlds so to be walking away with an individual bronze and team gold is extremely special."
An emotional home favourite Paddock shed tears as his score of 28.700 saw him claim bronze in the men's event.

"To achieve this here at home with so much support from my family, my friends and the city - I can't put it into words," said Paddock.
"It's always been my aim to medal here in Birmingham. I said I didn't mind what colour, I just wanted an individual medal and to have achieved that really does mean everything."
The Utilita Arena in Birmingham is hosting the Trampoline, Tumbling and DMT World Championships from 9-19 November.
In 2022, Great Britain achieved nine podium positions and reached the top of the medal table for the first time in the history of the championships.
The event is also the primary qualification event for the Olympic discipline of trampoline at the 2024 Paris Games.
