Part of the M32 in Bristol was closed this afternoon (Wednesday, February 14) due to a crash. One lane on the M32 northbound between junction 2 and junction 1 was closed amid the incident.

The crash was first reported at 1.06pm by roads and traffic monitoring site Inrix. It said: "One lane closed and queueing traffic due to accident on M32 Northbound from J2 B4058 Stapleton Road (Eastville) to J1 A4174 (Hambrook)."

An eyewitness has told BristolLive: "Two fire engines heading to the scene and an unmarked police car already at the scene. The whole northbound M32 is closed".

The nature of the incident is unknown. Emergency services were contacted for further information.
