The dust has finally settled on last autumn's World Cup, and rugby fans across the country are getting ready for this year's Six Nations Championship.

The annual festival of rugby kicks off in Marseille on Friday, February 2 as holders Ireland travel to 2023 runners-up, France.

The following day, England will get underway with a trip to Rome to face Italy, before Wales welcome Scotland to Cardiff to round off week one.

If you can't make it to the matches, then where better to enjoy the action than in a cosy pub with great drinks and delicious food, surrounded by friends, passionate fans and friendly staff?

Three of Bristol's best pubs for rugby fans - The Drawbridge, The Bay Horse and The Bishops Tavern - will each be showing every single match of this year's Six Nations, giving you the best seat in the house.

These pubs offer a vast selection of delicious food and drink options

Pubgoers will be able to enjoy a limited-edition beer, Scrumdown, created by Greene King to celebrate the great tournament. The 4.1% fresh golden ale has tropical and citrus notes and is an easy drinking and refreshing cask ale. Made with classic English hops, this is the perfect pint to enjoy during the games.

Additionally, each pub boasts an extensive drinks menu with Guinness available on tap, plus a range of premium beers, cocktails, wines, spirits, and more.

So, immerse yourself in the magical matchday atmosphere and get yourself in prime position for the action by booking your table in advance.

The Drawbridge

Located next door to the Hippodrome in the city centre and showing every Six Nations match live, The Drawbridge is a brilliant choice for rugby fans.

Watch all the action on the big screens, and get your own competitive juices flowing with a game of pool or challenge your mates at the foosball table. There are board games available to play too - just ask at the bar!

On a good day, a pint on the patio at the front of the pub is a joy, but there's plenty of comfortable seating inside, with plush leather banquettes, armchairs and small tables.

The beautiful wood-carved bar makes a real statement in the middle of the pub, and there you'll find a great selection of cask ales, premium beers, cider, wine and spirits. Food is served from midday to 8pm Sunday to Thursday, 9pm on Fridays and Saturdays.
