The resturant describes itself as specialising in vegetarian cuisine from southern and northern states of India, Tamil Nadu (Chennai), Delhi, and Maharashtra (Mumbai). The food is prepared from scratch.

Space 238 owner Aaron Davis told Bristol Live December that he planned to sell the building on a rolling auction and hoped the coffee shop would be retained for the local community. He said at the time: "The businesses are starting to do really well.

"My own personal circumstances - the cost to me has been too high, both financially and physically, because I haven't had a holiday since probably towards the end of 2019. I'm exhausted but I'm not giving up - I just don't have the reserves you need when running the business."
