B&M customers are racing to stores as shoppers say the retailer's kitchenware has dramatically dropped in price. As a part of a clearance of out of season cooking pots, one shopper managed to save over a tenner.
Taking to popular Facebook group B&M Bargains Extreme Money Saving Deals and More, shopper Kasim Khan shared their exciting find. Taking home a collection of George Wilkinson casserole dishes, salt and pepper shakers and a bag from B&M, Kasim said the entire shop cost only 65p.
According to the post, the mini casserole dishes were originally priced at £3, but have been reduced to just 10p. According to Kasim's receipt, the salt and pepper shakers that were £2.50 also went down to 10p.
Managing to come away with three casserole dishes, the salt and pepper set, and bag, what would have been a total price of £11.75 dropped down to 65p - saving Kasim £11.10. B&M fans couldn’t believe the steal of a deal on Facebook.
But many of them had the same complaint. Susan Zaccarini wrote: “But try getting these bargains in any of BM stores in Scotland!!”
Hayley Monaghan said: “Brilliant. I can never get the app to work in my store because of reception! Makes me laugh that the bag cost more than the dishes.”
Maureen Messmarri commented: “Very good buy." Debbie Young said: “I going to get some.” Helen Ward wrote: “I bet B&M WEST BROMWICH HASN'T GOT THEM AT THAT PRICE.” Liz Murray agreed: “Never ever see any of these bargains in our local B&M.”
Kasim explained in the comments that the reason the items were so cheap was because they were ‘old stock’ and included in a clearance deal. According to B&M’s site, George Wilkinson’s collection is priced between £3 and £12.
The range features the George Wilkinson Kitchen Scale 5kg (£3), George Wilkinson Frying Pan 32cm (£10), and George Wilkinson Non-Stick Frying Pan 32cm (£12). It is worth checking your local store to see if the same items have been reduced as B&M's clearance section often offers some decent bargain buys.
