With the drop in temperature, shoppers up and down the country are looking for cosy additions to their wardrobes - including new slippers for the cold season ahead. One shop you might not expect to find them at is B&M, best-known for its homeware and food range than its fashion offering.
The brand’s boxed mule snuggly slippers for women cost £8 and come in three different colours of grey, tan and black. The sole looks thick, very much like the style found on Ugg slippers, while the top and inside is covered with soft-looking faux fur.
On the B&M website, the product listing states: “Pure warmth and comfort! Keep your feet comfy and cosy around the house with these Mule Snuggle Slippers. Perfect for winter time and a great Christmas gift or stocking filler for loved ones. Keep your toesies roasty toasty!”

B&M shared a picture on Instagram, showing two of the colours you can get in store. The post was captioned: “Since we're flying into snuggle season, we're eying up these gorgeous slippers which are perfect for those chilly mornings! They're like a hug for your feet and will be a game-changer when the proper winter weather hits - and it's only £8 for a cosy pair! Who fancies grabbing a pair of these?!”
Shoppers soon took to the comments section to share their thoughts and the response was overwhelmingly positive. Many shared how they thought they looked ‘so comfy’ while others tagged friends, asking for a trip to their local store.
One shopper said: “They look cosy.” Another wrote: “On my way out the door!” While a third, who tagged their friend, said: “We need some of these for winter!” And a fourth claimed they were an ‘Ugg dupe’.
If you love fluffy slippers but prefer something with even more coverage then New Look have a range of cosy 'slipper boots'. They include a festive fair isle knit (£18) and even a pair of microwaveable boots with a lavender scent (£24.99).
