A Morrisons shopper managed to spot a great travel deal for anyone looking for new luggage bags. Sharing the bargain buy in popular Facebook group, Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK, Jane posted a collection of the store's red suitcases, with prices starting from £7.99.
Found in the homeware department at her local Morrisons, the suitcases come available in four different sizes. But you’ll likely have to be quick to see if your local brand is selling the cases a sign in Jane's pictures says: “When it’s gone it’s gone.”
The Manoukian Valise suitcases can be found in these sizes: Extra Small (20x30x47cm, £7.99), Small (22.34.58cm, £17.99), Medium (26.5x41x67cm, £24.99), and Large (30.5x48x77cm, £29.99). Some shoppers were delighted with the wallet-friendly deal, saying it was just what they ‘needed’ for upcoming holidays.
Sam wrote: “Look at these really good price and just what I need to go away.” Carley agreed: “I got the blue ones there lovely, you’d never know the price they have code locks on also." Sharon said: “I bought the small one for cabin. It’s really sturdy and the wheels are smooth rolling. Really great price.”
However, not everyone was impressed with the budget luggage. Sally Taylor said: “I looked at these in my local store yesterday. I’m afraid you get what you pay for. The wheels look very flimsy and I don’t think they will last long so decided against buying.”
Gary commented: “No bargain there , I bought two, left them both in Vietnam with broken zips, what a waste of money.” Jade put: “Just be aware if buying the cabin the dimensions are over the standard airline size like Ryanair etc.”
For comparison, Amazon’s top choice for suitcases is the RMW Suitcase Medium Size which measures out to 44x27x65 cm, for £49.99. Over 100 of the items have been bought in the past month.

It boasts an average 4.7 out of five star rating from 116 reviews. Marcia wrote: “Amazingly light and oh so stylish. Quit deep so can hold up to 20kg easily. The wheels are smooth and glides easy. Fits perfectly into the over head locker on the aircraft. It’s a great weekend pull along too.”
B said: “This suitcase is sturdy and lightweight luggage as well as accessible in pricing. The wheels work really well, making it easy to roll. My only problem would be that it gets easily scuffed (got a mark after one trip), however given it is made of fabric, some scuffing is to be expected. Regardless, I believe this to be a great option for a good quality and lower price luggage.”
