Tu clothing has shoppers loving a pair of jeans which some have been claiming are ‘so comfy’ and 'probably the best jeans they’ve ever owned’.

The Denim Wide Leg Jeans from Sainsbury’s will currently cost shoppers £16 in the sale, down by £4 from its original price of £20. The jeans come in three different blue colours, all perfect for spring; a mid blue, dark blue and a light blue. Made in the on trend wide leg style, these jeans have five different pockets, a zip and button fly and are low rise.

On the Tu Clothing website, the product listing states: “Fresh from our denim edit, our wide leg jeans are a flattering and comfy option for your weekend wardrobe. This pair comes in a mid blue wash, perfect for teaming with graphic tees and sweatshirts.”

And with an overall star rating of 4.7, 92% of customers who left a review would recommend this product to others. One shopper who loved the jeans said: “LOVE these!!! So comfy. Amazing fit - better than much more expensive brands . So pleased I purchased these - highly recommended.”

Another who gave the product a raving five star review wrote: “Probably one of the best pairs of jeans I own, can never get jeans to fit properly but these are a perfect fit & length, I bought a size 12s, will buy a second pair for sure if I can get them!”

A third said: “These jeans are a really good fit. I am 5ft 4 in tall and the short legs are perfect. The leg is wider than it looks on the photo but I don't mind that, they are very flattering and comfortable. Would buy again.”

And a fourth happy customer wrote: “These jeans are a lightweight denim, I was surprised at the quality for the price I paid. They fit nicely and I got compliments when wearing them. I prefer a darker denim, and these were perfect.”

While most who left reviews loved the jeans, there were some who found they weren’t quite what they were looking for. One less happy shopper said: “I'm 175cm and ordered 12L. The length is fine but the waist is massive, massively gaping at the back, whilst the bum is tight.”

And a second wrote: “Way too short! I am 5ft7 and sadly these jeans were way above my ankles. So many jeans like this, so hard to find a fitting pair. I’m not classed as in the ‘tall’ section so it’s very difficult.”
