Sainsbury's shoppers are heaping praise on a £9.60 dress they bought online, with many claiming it "looks designer." With the weather hopefully set to warm up soon, many shoppers will be looking for a way to brighten up their wardrobes with lighter dresses and warmer colours.
The supermarket's Tu Clothing has the For All The Love Border Printed Satin Twist Front Midi Dress, which is currently on sale for £9.60, down from £12, might be the perfect solution. The dress features a floaty satin twist front with cut out, volume sleeves and a scarf style placed border print with pop colour at hem line.
The dress has an overall rating of 4.2 stars out of five, having racked up a number of rave reviews. Among them, one person said: "So pleased with this dress. Can't believe it was £12! Fits really well and will be lovely to wear during any season. Material is lovely. I purchased a size 12 and it fits perfectly."
A second wrote: "I bought this dress just after Christmas, and in the sale for £12. Absolutely gorgeous... I have named it 'my Gucci dress' as it looks expensive. I am 5'8, and the dress comes to just above my ankles. It fits well, and is lovely and shimmery. It's a little low cut, but a well-placed pin solves this problem."
A third added: "Absolutely love this dress. Feels way more expensive than it was and looks fabulous on." Another wrote: "Very stylish dress looks like a designer one. Feel elegant in it, love the pattern and satin finish."
However, one shopper said: "I bought this a few weeks ago & thought it was stunning until I got it home & realised it had a tie by the boobs, just not for me & didn't see this in any of the photos disappointing." Another added: "Loved the print but dress not well cut for a bigger bust bit but very wide at the bottom."
Alternatively, a number of retailers are also offering a range of dresses ahead of summer. ASOS has the Monki midi smock dress in pink meadow floral for £35, while Asda has the Yellow Textured Smock Midi Dress or the Blue Floral Textured Shirred Waist Midi Dress for £12 each. Nobody's Child is also selling the Lilac Gingham Kylie Midi Smock Dress for £25, on sale from £69.
