The tap water
Lets start off with a simple one — nobody can deny that Scotland is home to some of the tastiest and most refreshing tap water in the world. Any Scot who has travelled south of the border, or to countries in Europe or North America, will know the disappointment after taking their first sip from a glass of water.

Another indisputable fact — Scotland's forests are easily some of the most lush and atmospheric on the planet. From the sprawling Galloway Forest Park to the mythical Puck's Glen, we are incredibly lucky to have easy access to so much breathtaking green space.

This one may be a little more controversial, but even if you're not a fan of the classic Scottish meals — like haggis and Cullen skink — there is bound to be at least one traditional dish that has you drooling.
