Forgotten Ryan Kent is reportedly pushing to have his Fenebahce contract ripped up at the end of the campaign.

The former Rangers wide man has endured a turbulent time in Istanbul after leaving Ibrox behind as a free agent last summer - and could be available for nothing when the summer window rolls around. The 27-year-old has been on the brink of a shock move to Lazio in the January window - but the deal fell apart in the final hours of the window with Kent opting to stay and fight for a place in the Turkish Super Lig.

However, the Englishman has failed to make a claim for regular first-team football with just one start since he knocked back a move to Serie A - in a rare Europa Conference League run out during the defeat to Union Saint-Gilloise. And that is said to have left Kent frustrated with the attacker now telling his agent to terminate his deal.

Turkish outlet The Star state that a "critical request" has been made to Fenerbahce with the player "unhappy" at the club. The wide man is said to have told his agent to find a new club while the request has already been made to start exit talks with the Istanbul powerbrokers.

Meanwhile, Cyriel Dessers has made a scoring return for Nigeria. The striker is playing his first game for the Super Eagles since 2022 and has tucked away a penalty. That put his side on track for a 2-0 win over Ghana.

Elsewhere, reports in Croatia suggest that the plug has been pulled on one potential exit option for Borna Barisic this summer. The 31-year-old is out of contract in the summer after making more that 200 appearance for the club having left Osijek in August 2018.

Reports in Turkey suggest that Trabzonspor are leading the race - and Glas Slavonije state that Roma have pulled out of the race to sign the star. Manager Daniele De Rossi has reportedly "vetoed" a move for the left-back.
