New food hygiene ratings have been awarded to two of Wyre Forest’s takeaways, the Food Standards Agency’s website shows.
Subway at 117 Coventry Street in Kidderminster was handed a four-out-of-five rating after an inspection on January 4.
The New Golden Wok at 42 Mill Street in Kidderminster was given a score of three on March 19.
It means that of Wyre Forest's 85 takeaways with ratings, 40 have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
The ratings have been published on the Food Standards Agency’s website which rates businesses from zero to five so customers can make more informed choices about where to buy and eat food.
A rating of five means hygiene standards are very good, four means hygiene standards are good, three means hygiene standards are generally satisfactory, two means some improvement is necessary, a rating of one means major improvement is necessary and a rating of zero means urgent improvement is required.
