Cities are not just inert landscapes or lifeless settings; they play active and significant roles in shaping numerous television narratives. Whether in series or soap operas, urban environments play a fundamental role not only as the backdrop where plots unfold but also in shaping the developments of storylines, their creations, guidelines, and contexts. https://lnkd.in/gPqswc4p

I help you navigate the broadcasting industry. From building a career to finding your next job. Personal Opinions here.
“1 minute before air, everything will be fixed” This urban legend is 99% true in live productions. The reason: Deadlines make things happen. 1. Sorry for being a “party pooper” but more than magic, last minute results are the result of the talent of engineers, vision mixers, audio engineers or whoever is fixing the issues. 2. But don’t get confused, not everybody work well under this kind of pressure. It is a skill you acquire through many experiences and hours of practice. 3. Just like in other areas of life, when you have clear deadlines all the processes work better to achieve the goal. 4. I like the “magic” of live tv and how things get fixed 1 minute before show time. However, I would prefer not to rush and have that risk. Do you have stories of problems solved 1 minute before going on air? Share them in the comments. - - - - - 3,305 received my newsletter earlier today. Subscibe to "The Ministry of Broadcasting" using the link below: https://drp.li/eUakQ
