Coming soon: OECD 2024 Ministerial Council Meeting Chaired by Japan, with vice-chairs Mexico and The Netherlands, Ministers will meet on the theme “Co-creating the flow of change: Leading Global Discussions with Objective and Reliable Approaches towards Sustainable and Inclusive Growth.” Governments are facing complex and interrelated issues, from climate change and digitalisation to the economic and social impacts of population ageing to challenges to the rule of law. These shared challenges are best tackled together. This week, three members of Youthwise - the OECD Youth Advisory Board - Joon B. , Alexandros Skouris and Pascual González Shuk participated in the OECD's Multistakeholder Dialogue of the OECD Science and Technology Policy Ministerial in Paris. They contributed to discussions on partnerships for climate action, human enhancement, and on how to engage diverse social groups for shaping science and technology policies. Their interventions played a key role in further integrating youth perspectives into discussions on science and technology in the global policymaking space.
