Employee Spotlight: Stephanie Stevenson

Employee Spotlight: Stephanie Stevenson

At TripleLift, we stand by our core values. Twice a year we honor our employees and their contributions with our Living the Values Awards program. This series of Employee Spotlights features our winners from H2 2023.

The TripleLift Character Award honors the legacy of Moritz Loew, former Advisor and SVP of Sales and one of the most empathetic, caring, and loving people of the TripleLift family. His kind spirit and advocacy for colleagues across the company made a major impact on our company culture and continues today. This award is granted annually to the individual who best embodies Mo’s spirit of empathy, kindness, and advocacy and we are proud to share that the winner is Stephanie Stevenson, Director of Legal Operations.

Stephanie's impact is felt across the company. From her leadership within the legal team to co-leading the Women's Initiative Network (WIN) employee resource group, she demonstrates advocacy, empathy, and empowerment. We are proud to have Stephanie on our team.

Question 1: What's your favorite part about your role?

The best thing about my role is that I work regularly across the entire organization. Because I’m focused on ensuring our legal team is set up to serve our increasingly complex business, I interact with almost every team. This means that even though I’m based in London I can walk into the New York HQ and have a 99% chance of recognizing lots of faces.

Question 2: What's the best piece of advice you have been given in your career?

Look for opportunities and companies that excite and motivate you. The rest (money, promotion, status) will follow.

Question 3: In my career, I'm most proud of…

The risks I’ve taken. The law is a well-established career path and lawyers are stereotyped as risk averse. So when I decided to move away from practicing the law many of my peers (and managers) were doubtful. I’m proud that I stuck to my guns and pursued a different path.

Question 4: If you could give advice to your 16-year-old self what would it be?

Keep doing what you are doing, but perhaps be a little less self-conscious and worried. In a few years, you won’t remember your GCSE results!

Question 5: Tell us about the most rewarding project you've worked on at TripleLift.

One of the most rewarding projects I’ve worked on at TripleLift is my co-leadership of our Women’s Initiatives Network ERG. In this role, I’ve gotten to operate outside of my comfort zone and consider how we can curate a community that serves to allow women (and those who identify as such) to bring their whole selves to work.
