Emily Atack looked glowing as she was pictured out shopping with her partner today.

The Inbetweeners star, 34, wore sunglasses, a chic black and grey dress and a beige jacket as she went out and about with her partner, Dr. Alistair Garner. The couple are expecting their first child imminently, with Emily previously revealing that their baby was due in April.

The pair have known one another since they were children but their relationship in recent years blossomed into a romance. It's reported Emily's famous mother, actress Kate Robbins, and Alistair's step-mum are actually sisters - making the future parents step-cousins.

Emily revealed her pregnancy at the end of last year, and has since moved in with him to set up home in preparation for their new arrival. Emily spoke about her pregnancy on Loose Women and admitted that she was surprised to find out she's having a boy after suffering from some specific symptoms usually associated with carrying a daughter - as well as heartburn and exhaustion.

She said: "It's not a barrel of laughs is it?! It's so exciting, it's very, very hard but I feel extremely connected to my body in ways that I've never been before. I used to get told off by my friends for not looking after myself enough and staying up too late and all of that and now I'm like, 'No, my body is a vessel'. It's so important that I get an early night and I'm really looking after myself.

"I've had a blow up, not a glow up! Everyone's saying, 'Oh you're going to be in your glow up era, you'll be in the gym doing pilates' [but] I'm like a hen sitting on an egg! I haven't moved. No, it's incredible, it's amazing and I'm so excited."

She also said she's thrilled about having a boy, telling everyone: "We weren't going to find out and I'd been very sick, the sickness is very, very tough and then we were at the scan and he said, 'Do you want to know?' and I said, 'Can you write it down on a piece of paper but not show us? ' and then when we get home, we'll do like a mini gender reveal to the family you know.

"We did that and I couldn't believe it because everybody told me, 'You're definitely having a girl' because of the sickness, you know all those myths, but it's a boy!"

Emily has high hopes for her unborn son. In March, when she appeared on BBC Breakfast to discuss a campaign to introduce affirmative consent in relationships, she explained how she was campaigning for a change in the sex consent laws for both men and women.

The actress said: "I'm six months [pregnant] and I wasn't going to say this, but I am going to say this - I'm having a boy. So I want him to be a part of a really positive change and I want him to grow up knowing he can talk about these things openly and enjoy his life. I want him to be on the right side of history."
