Sandra and Gordon McKandie founded Keirans Legacy after the death of their 16-year-old son in March 2016.

Since its formation, the charity has installed life saving defibrillators in local communities across Scotland as well as emergency response vehicles.

The community council raised the funds thanks to a successful coffee morning held last year.

The funds will go towards the upkeep of the area’s five defibrillators ensuring they are in working order should they ever be needed.
