Jos Buttler crunched his second century in three matches to help Rajasthan Royals to a record-equalling IPL chase of 224 and bring to an end a year-long slump in form.

The England white-ball captain batted through for an unbeaten 107 off 60 balls to overhaul Kolkata Knight Riders’ 223 off the final ball of the innings, hitting nine fours and six sixes. In recording his seventh century in the competition, Buttler went past Chris Gayle and has only Virat Kohli ahead of him.
