WESTON'S Marine Lake has reopened following dredging and other improvement works.
The lake, a popular attraction in the town, has been closed for over six weeks whilst the works have been taking place.
This included updating the lake's safety information and signs, as well as power washing areas of the walkway.
Posting on social media earlier today, a Visit Weston-super-Mare spokesperson said: "Some good news this Monday morning!
"Work has been completed on time so Weston’s Marine Lake is set to reopen at around 9am today, Monday, March 25 - in time for Easter!
"The lake's been closed recently for dredging work and other improvements, including:
- "Raking the beach;
- "Power washing areas of the walkway;
- "Relining areas around the steps into the lake;
- "Updating and repairing safety information and signs;
- "General repairs.
"Welcome back to everyone who uses the lake."
