The following cases were heard at Worcestershire courts recently.
MICHAEL FREEMAN, of Bishops Frome, Worcester, were accused of using threatening/abusive/insulting words/behaviour with intent to cause fear of/provoke unlawful violence and criminal damage to property valued under £5,000.
The 26-year-old is accused by the crown of committing both offences on June 22 last year at the Tesco in Orchard Lane, Ledbury.
Freeman's case was listed for Hereford Magistrates Court on January 3.
The case was rescheduled, Freeman now expected to appear at Hereford Magistrates Court on January 16.
Freeman has unconditional bail.
JAMES POWELL, of Stoke Bliss, Tenbury Wells, admitted two charges of possessing extreme pornographic image/images portraying an act of intercourse/oral sex with a dead/alive animal and two charges of making indecent photograph/pseudo-photograph of a child.
The 20-year-old possessed the illegal material in Tenbury Wells between August 17, 2020, and January 24, 2023.
The court heard Powell had four indecent photographs of child at category A - the highest level in the sentencing guidelines - and 20 category B images.
Powell entered his pleas at Worcester Magistrates Court on January 4 this year.
The case was moved to the higher court and adjourned for a pre-sentence report.
Powell, who was given unconditional bail, was told to attend Worcester Crown Court on February 1 when he is due to be sentenced.
DAVID BURLEY, 76, of West Malvern Road, Malvern, admitted three offences of indecent assault on boy under the age of 16 years.
The court heard the offences were committed between February 7, 1985, and February 6, 1987.
Burley entered guilty pleas at Worcester Magistrates Court on January 4 this year.
The case was sent to the higher court and adjourned for a pre-sentence report.
Burley, who was given conditional bail, was told to attend Worcester Crown Court on February 2 this year.
MICHAEL WHYTE, 53, of Bishops Cleeve, Cheltenham, admitted drink driving.
Whyte was caught driving a Renault Clio on the B4208 in Malvern when he had a specimen of breath of 80 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath - the legal limit being 35mcg.
Whyte, who appeared at Worcester Magistrates Court on January 4 this year, committed the offence on November 11 last year.
Whyte was disqualified from driving for 19 months, which will be reduced by 19 weeks if the defendant successfully completes a drink-drive awareness course.
The defendant was fined £120, ordered to pay costs of £135 and £48 victim surcharge.
Whyte was told to pay the total, £303, in full before February 1.
BRETT SPITTLE, of HMP Woodhill, faces an offence of aggravated vehicle taking and dangerous driving; and burglary other than dwelling - theft.
The crown alleges both offences took place in Worcestershire between October 21, 2022 and October 24, 2022.
The case of the 39-year-old, who is on unconditional bail for the offence, was not heard at Worcester Magistrates Court on January 4 when it was scheduled to be heard.
The case was adjourned until January 14 when it is again scheduled to be heard at the Worcester court and he could potentially enter a plea to the charges.
