Georgia May Jagger reveals her beauty secrets - from the oil she uses instead of perfume to the shampoo that saves her dyed hair

For fab-factor lashes

To get the biggest lashes I can I love YSL Volume Effet Faux Cils mascara (£31, yslbeauty.co.uk) – it’s what my mum has always used. While I like a smoky eye, if I do it myself I know I’ll have to redo it and then be late, so instead I’ll go for a liquid liner look with Charlotte Tilbury The Feline Flick (£25, charlottetilbury.com).

Sheer and hydrating, Chantecaille Future Skin Foundation (£80, spacenk.com) is a favourite of mine and I’ve used No7 Stay Perfect Stick Concealer for ever. For my lips, I like a 90s look and use pinky/plummy balms – at the moment Clinique Almost Lipstick in Black Honey (£24, clinique.co.uk) is in my bag. On nights out, I’ll do an orangey-red lip with Nars Velvet Matte Lip Pencil in Bright Orange Red.

Why I fear green hair

I’ve dyed my hair a lot – I’ve been pink and purple and now I’ve got a semi-permanent brown colour over my blonde to give it a rest.

I’m always careful as my sister [model and activist Elizabeth Jagger] had a disaster when she was 15 – she put henna on her hair and it went green. Whenever I’m in London I go to one of Bleach London’s salons. I’m best friends with the owner, Alex Brownsell – we met on a shoot when I was 14 and she was 17. I use the brand’s Reincarnation Shampoo and Conditioner (right) and, twice a week, the Mask, £10 (bleachlondon.com). Oh, and I love hairbrushes by Bass (from £9.96, bassbrushes.com).

Officine Universelle Buly Perfumed Body Oil, around £43, buly1803.com

The only spritz for me

Rather than perfume, I wear Officine Universelle Buly Perfumed Body Oil (right), which I just put on my arms. It creates a soft scent and I like the way the bottle looks in my bathroom.

My very own face hero

Living with my mum and sister Elizabeth, I have been obsessed with skincare since my teens. Mum has a low-maintenance approach – she uses olive oil on her hair and skin. I’ve always had dry, sensitive skin and suffered with eczema and psoriasis. This wasn’t helped by wearing full-on make-up for photo shoots and fashion shows.

After I kept buying things that made it worse, I decided to create my own skincare products that were natural and organic, and wouldn’t sting. The Seaweed Sheet Mask from my range (£45 for four, maybotanicals.com) is bright green but I use it anywhere when travelling, even on planes.

How I finally made friends with exercise

Growing up, I wasn’t sporty and, right through to my early 20s, I was lucky with my metabolism and could eat whatever I wanted. As a result it has taken me a long time to get into being active. I’ve started to do reformer pilates. During the class you move around so much that you don’t feel bored. I also try to walk a lot – I’m obsessive and get upset if I don’t reach close to 10,000 steps.
