Biden allies call Trump 'senile' after Fox News 'cut away' from his rally rant about 'washing machines' and 'no water in faucets'

Democrat Twitter erupted in attacks against Donald Trump's age and mental state after Fox News cut away from his rally rant about water pressure and usage.

President Joe Biden's campaign, allies and defenders called the moment 'embarrassing' for Trump and claimed the former president is 'senile.'

The 2024 race has largely devolved into arguments over which of the elderly men are more fit to serve another four years in office. Trump and Biden camps wage attacks over the way the other walks, talks and acts – claiming it indicates they are not mentally or physically fit enough for another term.

Trump and Biden will have the chance to put each other to the test during their first head-to-head debate of the 2024 election cycle on Thursday in Atlanta, Georgia hosted by CNN.

Whether Trump, 78, or Biden, 81, wins in November, either one will set the record for the oldest person ever elected to the White House.

Donald Trump railed against Democratic environmental policies that leads to weaker water pressure during a rant at his rally in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on Saturday, June 22

Trump in 2016 became the oldest president inaugurated in U.S. history at the age of 70, and Biden beat that record just four years later at the age of 78.

During a rally in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on Saturday, Trump started to rant about how weak water pressure has become with recent left-leaning environmental regulations. This is a common line he brings up at his rallies about how there are 'no water in your faucets.'

'BREAKING: In a terribly embarrassing moment for Trump, Fox News has to cut away from his speech because he isn't making any coherent sense,' an account called Biden's Wins posted to X.

They added: 'It's beyond clear Trump is senile. Retweet so all Americans see this.'

At the rally, Trump began talking about the lack of availability of water in home faucets.

'You ever try buying a new home and you turn on – you want to wash your hair or you wanna wash your hands – you turn on the water and it goes drip, drip. The soap, you can't get it off your hand. So you keep it running for about 10 times longer,' Trump lamented.

'The worst is your hair,' the former president went on. 'I have this beautiful luxuriant hair and I put stuff on. I put it in, lather. I like lots of lather because I like it to come out extremely dry because it seems to be slightly thicker that way. And I lather up and then you turn on this crazy shower and the thing drip, drip and you say I'm gonna be here for 45 minutes.'

Pro-Biden accounts erupted on social media over Fox News abruptly cutting away from Trump's rant and said the remarks were proof the former president is 'senile'

He posed a solution – rain.

'There's so much water, you don't know what to do with it. You know, it's called rain,' Trump said. 'It rains a lot in certain places.'

'There is a problem. They don't want you to have any water. They want no water.'

At this point, Fox News had tuned into the rally and decided to cut away.

'And you were just listening to former President Trump and we're going to talk about some of the things he was discussing there. We'll be right back,' the Fox host said.

Biden's reelection campaign also posted a clip of the moment, writing: 'Fox News cuts away from Trump in the middle of his unintelligible, confused rant about washing machines.'
