Ryan Garcia claims Drake 'killed' fellow rapper XXXTentacion in latest bizarre rant after being banned from boxing for a year in wake of failed drugs test

Ryan Garcia has embarked on another bizarre social-media rant, accusing Drake of killing fellow rapper XXXTentacion six years on from his death.

Garcia received a one-year ban from boxing on Thursday after reaching a settlement with the New York State Athletic Commission over his recent failed drugs tests.

In addition to that suspension, the 25-year-old's win over Devin Haney in April has been changed to a no-contest after his drugs tests around the fight came back positive for banned substance Ostarine, while he has also forfeited his $1.1million contracted fight purse.

And after accepting his punishment over the doping scandal, he followed it up by sharing a series of bizarre posts on X; which included a wild and unproven accusation about Canadian rapper and singer Drake.

Six years on from the death of American rapper XXXTentacion - who was shot and killed outside a Florida motorcycle dealership in 2018 - Garcia has alleged that Drake was responsible for his murder.

'F**k it Drake killed X,' the troubled boxer wrote on X (formerly Twitter).

He later backtracked by adding: 'I’m sorry Drake my bad it’s love'.

Four suspects were arrested and charged with the murder of XXXTentacion, real name Jahseh Dwayne Ricardo Onfroy, in 2019 before one pleaded guilty in exchange for testimony against the other three defendants three years later.

In March 2023 all three men were found guilty and sentenced to life imprisonment without parole.

Garcia has made a number of disturbing claims on social media in recent months, with his online behavior concerning fans in the lead-up to his fight against Haney earlier this year.

The California native raised fears over his mental health by making several worrying allegations, including that he had been kidnapped by the 'elites' and forced to watch children being raped in the woods.

Ahead of his one-year suspension earlier this week, he also claimed to have retired from boxing amid his lawsuit from online star Logan Paul and with his mother currently battling breast cancer.

Paul's energy drink brand, Prime, filed a defamation lawsuit against the boxer in Texas last month, following an Instagram where he said: '@loganpaul come on bro you hurting kids you pedo allegedly'.

Earlier this month, Garcia stated his mother, Lisa Garcia, had been diagnosed with breast cancer.

'Mom has cancer. I’m being sued. My supplements were tainted. Going thru a divorce,' he said this week.

'Always GETTING S**T TALKED on the internet FOR YEARS Devin asking for my victory to be taken away I’m getting hit with everything I STILL LOVE GOD, HE IS EVERYTHING.

'Not asking for sympathy. I’m asking for war. I’m only going to bring more vengeance. In the end these are worldly problems. JESUS LOVES ME and in the end that’s all that matters.'
