Justin Timberlake DUI police report reveals what he told cops when they pulled him over

A police report has revealed what Justin Timberlake told police officers after the singer was arrested for driving while intoxicated. 

After the 43-year-old failed a field sobriety test, officers arrested the father-of-two and took him to a local police station where he refused a breathalyzer. 

Officers reported that Timberlake told them: 'No, I'm not doing a chemical test. I refuse. I refuse.'

The report also detailed how unsteady the singer was when officers had him undertake a sobriety test. 

The pop-star was detained after he was spotted running a stop sign while behind the wheel of his BMW X7 on Monday night after a night out with friends in Sag Harbor.

The 'Sexy Back' singer was spotted veering across the road by officers before they intervened, later describing him as being in an 'intoxicated condition' in a report.

Timberlake, seen here on Saturday, was arraigned on one count of DWI, as well as running a stop sign and failing to stay in his lane 

Police described Timberlake as having 'bloodshot and glassy' eyes, smelling strongly of alcohol, having slowed speech and unable to maintain his attention. 

On Tuesday morning, he was seen being led across the bridge from Sag Harbor police headquarters to the villages Justice Court on Tuesday by police officers in exclusive pictures obtained by DailyMail.com. 

Timberlake appeared shell-shocked as he looked straight ahead as he was led out by officers.  

After a brief arraignment where he was banned from driving for a year in New York, he was released without bail, emerging from court wearing a baseball cap. 

He was arraigned on one count of DWI, as well as running a stop sign and failing to stay in his lane.  He is next in court on July 26 after being released without bail.

Timberlake had been drinking with friends at The American Hotel bar in the Hamptons town on Monday night. 

One witness told The New York Post that Timberlake had been 'wasted' before his DWI bust and was even seen drinking someone else's drink from another table. 

The unknown person told the outlet: 'He was wasted. At one point, just before closing, somebody got up to go to the bathroom and left his drink on the table.

'When [the man] came back, [Timberlake] was drinking his drink. The guy goes, “Justin, that’s my drink!".'

The outlet also reported that Timberlake told arresting officers that he had 'just one martini' before 'following his friends home'.

The singer, who is often referred to as the 'Prince of Pop' is married to actress Jessica Biel, having tied the knot in 2012.

Biel used her Instagram to wish Timberlake a Happy Father's Day on Sunday after she was spotted filming in New York City last week. 

One image showed the Tennessee born singer kissing the side of her head in a selfie, while others showed Timberlake with his sons Silas, nine, and Phineas, three.

The singer-songwriter also appeared on social media to acknowledge the holiday.

He shared two photos with each of his sons and included a thoughtful caption as he engaged his 72.6 million followers.

Timberlake said: 'My 2 greatest gifts. I learn more about myself everyday just because you both chose me to be your Daddy. 

'I will always be there for you through your peaks and valleys… to lift you up and show you how high you can take this life and to pick you up when you fall.

Timberlake is currently on the road across America with the with the first leg of his American tour concluding July 9 at Rupp Arena in Lexington, Kentucky.

He has a break for a few weeks before getting back on the road in late July with the European leg kicking off in Krakow, Poland on July 29.

Shows in Germany, Belgium, England, The Netherlands, Denmark, Sweden and France takes the tour to its second leg before another break in September.

The tour is in support of his sixth solo album Everything I Thought It Was, which was released in March.

It was his first solo album in six years, following his 2018 album Man of the Woods.
