Joey Essex sent Love Island viewers into a frenzy as they called out his 'GCSE acting' after his former flame Samantha Kenny was dumped from the villa on Tuesday.
The reality TV star, 33, has been coupled up with Samantha Kenny since he made his bombshell entrance into the ITV reality show two weeks ago.
But after rekindling a former romance with his ex Grace Jackson, she chose to couple up with Joey, leaving Samantha the only girl left single at the end of Tuesday's recoupling.
Nicole Samuel received a text telling the villa Samantha had been dumped, prompting her and Harriett Blackmore to burst into tears.
Grace tried to apologise to Samantha as she packed her bags but Samantha told her she 'didn't want to hear it'.

Joey then entered the room as Samantha packed and tried to speak to her but she told him she didn't want to hear what he had to say.
He said he had been with her 'for two weeks' but Samantha said anything he said to her would just be a 'p**e of s***e'.
Joey appeared sad as he wondered aimlessly around the Majorca property and was left sitting on his own, with the final shot of the episode showing the seasoned reality star slumped at the fire pit with his hands in his pockets.
But while Joey attempted to be remorseful about the situation, fans of the show did not believe his reaction as they compared his response to a 'GCSE performance'.

Samantha was left in floods of tears following Monday's episode as she claimed 'no one in the villa could make her feel any better' as she felt overcome with embarrassment and as though she had been a 'place holder' until Grace came in.
And now fans are calling for Joey and Grace to leave the villa and rekindle their existing relationship on the outside.

During the episode, after a conversation with Harriet on the daybeds in which Samantha started crying, she then took herself off to the terrace to have a cry in private.
Jess followed her up and told Samantha that Joey was looking for her, but the make-up artist said she didn't want to talk as she was embarrassed.
'You've not treated someone wrong,' Jess said. 'You've not made someone feel that way.'
Samantha replied: 'I don't want him to see that I'm upset because I'm embarrassed.
'Grace walks in and I just get kicked to the curb. It's not nice.'

'I saw you upset earlier,' he said, before Samantha replied: 'I feel embarrassed if I'm honest I feel like I was a place holder until someone else came in.'
