Post Malone meets his Madame Tussauds wax figure and mistakes it for a real person: 'Are you f***ing kidding me?'

Post Malone got a surprise backstage at the Governors Ball when he was confronted with the sight of a wax figure of himself.

The sculpture was made by Madame Tussauds and is headed to the museum's Las Vegas location - but Post got to have a look at it ahead of time.

As he wandered around backstage at the Governors Ball, feeling 'so lost right now,' he caught a glimpse of his wax figure and covered his face in shock.

'Are you f***ing kidding me?' the 28-year-old rapper marveled as somebody who was with him laughed. 'I literally thought that was a person.'

He jokingly asked whether the waxwork could take his place onstage at his concerts so he could 'catch up on sleep,' in a TikTok posted by Consequence Of Sound.

'Is this real hair?' he wondered, and when he was told it was in fact genuine, he quipped: 'Whose hair is it, mine? That was y'all in my shower?'

He walked around the figure in awe, examining its tattoos and taking a look at the crotch as he vamped: 'Thanks for the help down there as well. I appreciate it.'

Post's mother Nicole Frazier then arrived on the scene, saying the waxwork was 'awesome' and adding with a grin: 'I like those teeth better.'

The sculpture is dressed in a black turtleneck, a set of black jeans with a crystal belt, cowboy boots and what Madame Tussauds revealed is a Tom Ford suede jacket.

At the moment, Post is mounting a grand entrance into the country genre and is working on his first-ever full country album.

He and Morgan Wallen dropped a single called I Had Some Help last month, and shortly thereafter Post played the Academy Of Country Music Awards.

His full album is called F-1 Trillion, and this Tuesday he proudly announced that it will be released in full near the end of the summer on August 16.

The news came two days after Post celebrated Father's Day by dropping a 35-second clip of his upcoming country song about a man walking his daughter down the aisle.

'When I walk her down that isle and do what daddies have to do,' he croons. 'And she might be wearing white, but her first dress it was pink.'

Post himself became a father in 2022 when his fiancée - who has remained out of the public eye - gave birth to their firstborn child.

Last August, he shared that he had in fact gotten engaged two years before when he popped the question to his girlfriend in Las Vegas.

'I had lost a significant amount of money at the table,' he shared on Call Her Daddy, setting the scene before the proposal.

'We go upstairs and I'm off my rocker hammered and I was like: "Hey, you wanna marry me?" I got a ring and all this stuff. And she said: "No."'

He revealed that his fiancee, whom he has not named publicly,' said: '"Ask me tomorrow" and I was like: "Alright." And then I did and I was sober and it was nice.'
